SSV Limited provide a comprehensive range of dependable brite tanks used for maturation and carbonation during the brewing process. Our standard tanks range in sizes from 10HL to 250HL yet we are able to supply up to 30,000HL when required.
Our tanks are fully customisable to meet your requirements but our standard design includes a fully aseptic sample tap, high efficiency, channel type, glycol jackets, entry door, racking arm, 100mm PU foam insulation and 2.5mm thick cladding in either 2B or number 4 polish finishes. We can even anodise the cladding to a colour of your choice. Our tanks are fully compliant with all UK legislation including CE and PED certifications. With over 1300 tanks supplied into the UK and a failure rate of 0% we supply equipment you can depend on for years to come at unprecedented value.
Option of top or side manway c/w hand-turn knobs provides fast and easy access to vessel. Top manway allows for easy dry hopping and thorough CIP. Side manway option includes a shadowless manway and the addition of a dry-hop port on the top of the vessel.
Static cleaning ball provides reliable cleaning performance and optimized flow pattern to minimize cleaning time and water usage. Optional rotating cleaning nozzles are also available. External clamped connection permits easy maintenance and replacement of the cleaning nozzle without entering the vessel.
Provides easy connection point at comfortable working height for brewer. Includes pressure gauge and gav valve c/w quick-connection gas connection.
(Pressure Release Valve) Protects against over pressurization or vacuum collapse of tank. Self sealing after operation for reduction risk of beer contamination. Easy disassembly for cleaning.
Locks into the rung on a standard ladder providing safe access to top of vessel.
#4 Brisched polish sheets provide a showpiece finish suitable for high-pressure wash-down.
Pour-in polyurethane foam insulation has a high insulating value and expands to fill every corner of the insulating space achieving a superior performance compared to fiber batts. Insulating foam is specially formulated for use with stainless vessels.
High efficiency glycol cooling jackets are specially designed to create turbulence and improve heat transfer. Dual side jackets are located to minimize thermal stratification and maximize cooling performance for single or double batch sizes. (Note: 90 BBL designed for triple batches)
Sanitary sample valve provides convenient location to draw-off sterile wort sample.
Sintered stainless stone produces micro-bubbles, maximizing the interface area for gas diffusion and minimizing carbonation times. Carbonation stone includes gas isolation valve and quick-disconnect fittings. Stone is tri-clamped to vessel for easy removal and cleaning.
9” thermowell provides accurate vessel temperature for precision process control. The termowell isolates the temperature sensor form the process, allowing the brewer to troubleshoot and replace the sensor without draining the vessel.
Drain sized for low turbulence product transfers and CIP without cavitation.
Tilting pads ensure full floor contact without gaps and simplify vessel leveling.
Provides rugged design against internal pressure and gentle curves for ease of cleaning.
Minimum 10% head space provides space for carbonation while minimizing C)2 losses. Height to diameter ratios optimized from efficient carbonation.
Clear level tube is integrally mounted with calibration strip for ease of use and aesthetic appeal. Evel tube is connected at the bottom drain via an isolation valve to indicate liquid level right to empty.
