We’ll cut to the chase. SSV Limited has just signed on the dotted line to acquire TEP Machinery Movement, the family-run plant and machinery movement company who currently partner with us on the majority of our installs. The company has been trading since 1978, building a reputation for service and quality along the way. That’s something we’ve prized throughout our five-year relationship, across dozens of projects of all scales.
As a market leader in its field, TEP Machinery Movement is in a great place to benefit from the investment and guidance SSV Limited will provide. An expanded team, new equipment, and fresh opportunities await. So we’re pleased to be trusted with the task of taking the business forward.
Family owners Nigel and Mandy Thirkill have created a skilled and experienced management team, built a healthy and diverse customer base, and grown the business responsibly and organically. It’s the foundation from which our new relationship will grow, and the reason why TEP Machinery Movement has developed the reputation its enjoys today, in the brewing industry and beyond.
For TEP Machinery Movement, it’s very much business as usual. We’re looking forward to working with the existing team, learning from and working alongside staff with decades of experience, and finding the areas where SSV Limited can provide support, and encourage growth. And we’re looking forward to learning from Nigel and Mandy too, who will be staying in post to ensure a smooth transition.
For customers of TEP Machinery Movement, it’s business as usual too. The same great service, the same personnel behind the wheel, or at the end of the phone. And the same commitment to delivering on every single job.
As for SSV Limited, the partnership builds on our commitment to a seamless, end-to-end service. From the factory to the installation, we’re in control of more of the process than ever before, enabling efficiency, integration and quality assurance at every step. From the smallest craft projects, to our largest installations, TEP Machinery Movement will be part of the family.
Nigel Thirkill of TEP Machinery Movement had this to say:
“We’ve been proud to build our family business over the last 42 years, but it’s time for the next chapter. Once the decision had been made, there was only one person to call. We’ve been working with Sam and the team at SSV Limited since they began trading, and they’ve impressed time after time. Their business ethic, commitment, and dedication to their people matches our own, and we couldn’t be happier to secure a stable future for TEP Machinery Movement.”
SSV Limited Managing Director, Sam Lawson commented:
“It takes a lot of trust to step back from a stable, growing business. So we’re proud that Nigel and Mandy decided SSV Limited could help. The fact that some team members have been there for over 15 and 20 years says it all. That’s the kind of experience we can learn from, providing investment and opportunities both to our customers, and employees to make the next 15 or 20 years just as successful.”
