Sales Advisor

Do you have experience working within the brewery, dairy or  distillery industries?  Can you connect with our customers, deliver an excellent customer experience and offer advice on a range of products and services.

What will you do?

  • You’ll have the exciting opportunity to engage with potential customers to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Discussing  their requirements and assisting  with all aspects of the sales process from quote generation to customer meetings and order processing.
  • Liaise with contractors and secondary suppliers so that we can provide a turnkey proposal.
  • You’ll generate  sales handover documentation and liaise internally with engineers, commissioning brewers and  project managers to hand over projects from the order to design phase.
  • Conduct  sales visits and post sales care both nationally and occasionally internationally.
  • Authoring and delivering occasional technical presentations for industry events.
  • You’ll also have the opportunity to attend industry events (beer festivals, industry dinners, and exhibitions) representing the company and building relationships with our customers.
  • Working in a lively and at times challenging environment so you’ll take multitasking in your stride and will enjoy balancing admin tasks, events, relationship building and sales – there’s never a dull moment!

What hours will you be working?

This role is predominantly Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week working between 08:30 – 17:00 however, some weekend and evening work for events will be required and time off in lieu will be provided accordingly.

What skills and experience do I need for this role?

  • You’ll have at least two years experience working within either a brewery, dairy, distillery or supply chain role with an understanding of process systems and technology.
  • Experience working in a customer facing role and any sales experience would be an advantage.
  • With strong organisational skills, you’ll be methodical in your approach with a high attention to detail.
  • We’re a data driven business so you’ll need to be IT literate and experience with Google suite is a benefit.
  • Comfortable working to deadlines with an ability to prioritise your workload and multitask whilst adapting to changing priorities.

  • Most of all, you’ll be someone who can respect, encourage and connect with the people you work with and our customers.
  • We need someone who enjoys working as a team and who brings enthusiasm, optimism and a cheery disposition to our office.
  • You’ll also need a full UK driving licence as you will be travelling as part of your role.

  • Great Pay! We believe in rewarding our people for their hard work and this role has a starting salary of £27,500 – £32,500 per annum depending on experience.  Plus as you develop within the company so will your paycheck!
